Four Seasons Punta Mita

Hola mis Amigas!

I wanted to share with you all more photos from our fabulous, girls only vacation to the Four Seasons Punta Mita. What turned out to be one of my favorite vacations of all time began with a quick flight on Alaska Airlines from LAX to Puerto Vallarta. Alaska Airlines has many non-stop flights to the most popular vacation cities in Mexico at great prices.

Nestled just 45 minutes north of PV lies the most charming city I’ve ever visited, Punta Mita. Upon arriving at the beautiful resort, we were greeted with fresh agave and tequila beverages and escorted to our room. The Four Seasons Hotels always do an amazing job at making their guests feel welcome and this stay did just that and more. Waiting for us in our room was a spread of fresh Mexican fare, complete with chips, salsa, guacamole and traditional margaritas. Our stay started on a high and continued to impress.

Our second day in Punta Mita began with a relaxing message at the Apuane Spa. Newly renovated, this is one of the most breathtaking spas I’ve ever visited. My mom, sister, and I started off the day with a relaxing massage with some seriously talented massage therapists. What better way to start the day than with a massage? My sister and I also treated ourselves to a facial. I am a big believer in facials and make it a point to get one at least once a month but my sister had never had one. Here is what she said:

“I can honestly say my experience at the Four Seasons Punta Mita Spa was the best spa experience I’ve had to date. Not only because of the beautiful surroundings, but more so because of the caring and attentive staff. It was so apparent from the moment we walked in that each and every staff member was completely focused on making sure I got the most out of my visit. Up until our day at the spa I had never before had a facial, and to be honest I was a little nervous about it. I’ve always struggled with skin problems (sensitive skin and hormonal acne) so the thought of a stranger going to town on my face made me a tad bit uncomfortable. I was put to ease the moment I walked into the room and met my esthetician. She was so attentive and truly wanted to know what I wanted to get out of my facial. I told her my skin problems and she instantly knew exactly what I needed. She proceded to give me a peel, extractions, and multiple soothing masks. She went above and beyond the time allotted just to make sure she could give my skin all of the time and attention it deserved. After my very first facial experience ever, I left the spa feeling so confident and beautiful in my bare, makeup-free skin. I can happily say facials will be a new regular skin routine for me! Thank you Apuane Spa!!”

Following our trip to the Apuane Spa we made our way to the Tamai adults only pool for a little sunshine and fresh fare.

Day three was spent on the private beach at the resort. I had to start the day with a fresh coconut! Just like the rest of the property, the beach decor was fabulous. Hammocks and day beds lined the white sandy shore. Every thirty minutes or so the staff came by with fresh treats, including smoothies and popsicles, and cold towels to cool guests off from the Mexican sunshine. What sets the Four Seasons Hotels apart from other five stars hotels is the service. Every staff member was extremely attentive, referring to every guest by name, and truly making you feel special.

We indulged in many delicious meals at the hotels exclusive restaurants including Bahia, a fresh beachfront grill and Aramara, a contemporary Asian dining experience.

The resort has fabulous boutiques on the property. Paloma, a vibrant shop carrying women’s and children’s clothing, had amazing beach apparel and introduced me to some talented designers. I picked up an amazing kaftan and clutch (pictured above).

I would HIGHLY recommend this resort. Whether you’re celebrating your honeymoon, anniversary, or wanting a relaxing family vacation, the Four Seasons Punta Mita has something for everyone. I am already planning my trip back..

    • Four Season’s covered our room cost however all the opinions on this page are my own 🙂 And, yes, I’m probably biased toward Alaska because I used to fly for them but no, still not sponsored!
